Jason Stone, business and tax lawIn case you missed it, Larry Zimpleman, the President and CEO of Principal Financial Group, recently co-authored an editorial in the Wall Street Journal. The editorial, entitled "An Entrepreneurial Fix for the U.S. Economy" advocates for legislative change to encourage the launch and growth of new business. In particular, it referenced the Startup Act proposed by the Kaufman Foundation.

As sponsors of Thinc Iowa, which is intended to bring large companies together with startups, we are greatly pleased that the President and CEO of one of Des Moines' largest employers took the time and effort to make this push. We applaud Larry Zimpleman and hope other others follow in his well directed footsteps!
